Uptime NetManagement, Inc. Partner Receives Certified
Novell Instructor (CNI) Designation
March 2008 - Uptime engineer Donna Moyer received her CNI (Certified
Novell Instructor) designation from Novell at this year's BrainShare
conference. This certification qualifies Donna to provide Novell
customers with the training they can use to keep their Novell environments
running smoothly.
Uptime NetManagement, Inc. Attends Novel Teaming + Conferencing
Partner Immersion Class
April 2008 - Uptime engineer Donna Moyer attended the Novell Teaming
+ Conferencing Partner Immersion class. This invitation-only class
provided Uptime with the necessary training to work with customers
on their Teaming + Conferencing implementations, including environment
review and design recommendations as well as post-implementation
recommendations to get the most out of the product.
Uptime NetManagement, Inc. Attends Novel
Novell OES2 Partner Immersion Training
June 2008 - Uptime engineers Donna Moyer and Chris Gabel attended
Novell OES 2 Partner Immersion Training. This invitation-only class
provided Uptime with the necessary training to work with customers
on their NetWare to Linux migrations. Uptime can provide environment
review and design recommendations, best practices around migrations,
perform server setups and migrations, and provide post-migration
support.
Uptime NetManagement, Inc. named Novell Workgroup
Specialist Partner
October 2007 - In 2007 Novell began to require each Gold and Platinum
partner to specialize in one area of expertise. In order to meet
this requirement, Uptime engineers needed to become certified in
their chosen area--Workgroup. The Workgroup Specialization is for
companies concentrating on Novell’s core product line—Novell
Open Enterprise Server—Linux
and NetWare, GroupWise, ZENworks, and the Linux Desktop. Donna
Moyer and Chris Gabel, senior consultants at Uptime successfully
completed their certification exams this month. Novell’s
idea behind this requirement is to give customers the peace of
mind that the partner they chose has the correct skill set to complete
their project successfully.
Uptime NetManagement Inc. named a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.

September 2007 – The Minority Business Enterprise Council
of the City of Philadelphia has named Uptime NetManagement, Inc.
a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. The MBEC works with
the Philadelphia business community, minority and woman-owned businesses,
the City of Philadelphia and private enterprise to develop strong
relationships in the business community. Uptime NetManagement,
Inc. is very proud to have achieved this designation in order to
be able to connect with the customers who were are dedicated to
serve.
Uptime NetManagement Inc. named Certified Women’s Business
Enterprise by the state of Pennsylvania
July 2007 – The Bureau of Minority and Women Business Opportunities
(BMWBO) of the state of Pennsylvania has named Uptime NetManagement
Inc. a certified Women’s Business Enterprise. The BMWBO’s
mission is to promote, facilitate, and expand the participation
of minority and women-owned businesses in state contracting opportunities.
In order to fulfill that mission, the BMWBO uses three organizational
divisions: The Certifications Division, which uses a comprehensive
process to certify these small businesses; The Business Development
Division, which provides free training to certified members in
order to promote successful involvement in state contracting; and,
The Supplier Diversity Division, which monitors the participation
in state contracting, ensuring adherence to Commonwealth programs
that promote opportunities for certified companies and other small
businesses, as well as monitoring overall program compliance. Uptime
NetManagement, Inc. is very excited to receive coveted certification
